About The Position

The Warehouse Associate – Stamping is responsible for affixing state, county, and city tax stamps to individual cigarette packs and storing stamped packs on cigarette racks. The role involves recording product movement, moving materials between bins, operating a stamp machine and pallet jack, and pulling production orders. The associate also maintains a clean and safe work environment and performs other related duties as assigned. The position is located at 2085 E. Michigan Ave., Ypsilanti, MI 48198. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 7:00 a.m. and continuing until finished. Pay is $16 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
0–6 months of warehouse experience.
Ability to lift, stack, and/or pull products from shelves and replenish products at various heights. Products weigh 10–35 pounds and generally up to approximately 60 and 90 pounds throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

Stamp cigarette packs and record product movement using handheld devices.
Perform system and physical material movements from one bin to another.
Use basic SAP skills for material lookups and bin-to-bin movements.
Operate a stamp machine and perform basic troubleshooting related to the machinery.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Use a pick list to pull orders for production.
Operate a pallet jack.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
