About The Position

The Warehouse Associate assists with inbound or outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor, meeting quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. The role receives products in the inbound section and ships products in the outbound section. The position is based at Cardinal Health’s Consumer Health Logistics Center in Groveport, Ohio, a 350,000-square-foot pharmaceutical supply chain facility that picks, packs, and ships consumer health products using automation technology. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., or until the assigned task is completed. Training is provided starting on the first day. Candidates with little or no warehouse experience are welcome.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working regularly at heights of 20–30 feet.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic proficiency in English, including the ability to read and write in English to process documents.
High school diploma, GED, equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with technologies such as computers or point-of-sale systems.
Warehouse experience; however, candidates with little or no warehouse experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Train and become certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duties.
Receive products in the inbound section and ship products in the outbound section.
