About The Position

As a Warehouse Colleague, you’ll help create a seamless, customer-focused experience by receiving, storing, picking, packing, sorting, and shipping merchandise. You will handle items with care, work safely, and help keep the warehouse clean, organized, and running smoothly while contributing to on-time delivery and excellent service. The role also emphasizes creating a positive, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for colleagues.

Requirements

Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, switch between tasks, and work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
Proficiency using computers and handheld technology.
Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors, and to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
Ability to stand and walk around the facility or department for prolonged periods of up to 12 hours, excluding breaks.
Ability to frequently use computers and handheld electronic equipment.
Ability to reach above eye level, crouch, kneel, stoop, push, and pull.
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50–75 lbs.
Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Ability to hear and see safety and emergency alarms and Power Industrial Truck warning devices.

Responsibilities

Load and unload cartons and merchandise from delivery trucks, conveyor systems, and other sources.
Lift, carry, push, and pull packages on a continuous and repetitive basis.
Complete processing, receiving, and shipping activities on time and in accordance with productivity standards.
Input data accurately and efficiently using PCs, handheld computers, radio frequency equipment, or similar devices, and learn area-specific warehouse and proprietary systems.
Perform job functions safely and promptly report accidents or safety hazards to the safety committee.
Follow shift-start practices, including wearing a name badge, following the dress code, attending start-ups, checking work-area readiness, and staying informed about daily goals.
Work with speed and accuracy, handle merchandise carefully, and pack customer orders neatly.
Build positive relationships with coworkers, support new and existing teammates, and foster an atmosphere of kindness, respect, acceptance, and inclusion.
At the end of the shift, tidy the workstation, return equipment, replenish supplies, and recognize colleagues who contributed to the day's work.
