About The Position

Auto-Wares is hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate at its Lafayette Auto Supply location in Lafayette, Indiana. The role involves accurately selecting merchandise from warehouse shelves and preparing orders for shipment in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The work is physically active and involves standing, walking, and moving throughout the workday, including extended periods on your feet and moderate lifting. Candidates should be self-motivated, energetic, reliable, safety-conscious, attentive to detail, and willing to learn different jobs and tasks.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays may be required on a rotating basis, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The company offers competitive pay, training paths, potential store bonuses, paid time off and holidays, benefit plans, employee discounts, and education-related programs.

Requirements

• Must be over 18 years old.
• Must pass a background check and limited drug screen.
• Able to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand, walk, and move throughout the workday, including for extended periods.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, self-motivated, energetic, attentive to detail, and able to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer orders using handheld scanners.
• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Lift, stack, wrap, and secure parts for shipment to other locations.
• Learn and perform different jobs and tasks as needed.
• Report product damage and safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
