About The Position

Renewal by Andersen is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support operations at its Livonia warehouse. The role receives, unpacks, checks, and stores merchandise or materials; fills requisitions and orders; and may operate a forklift. The associate performs varied manual tasks, uses limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and works under general supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Knowledge of the application and use of power tools.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to obtain any necessary licensure or certifications, as applicable.
• Ability to physically lift up to 83 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools.
• Basic math skills and legible writing.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments of products or materials, record receipts, and enter them into the computer system.
• Stage materials for pickup or shipping.
• Move materials on and off shelves.
• Assist in staging customer orders.
• Keep warehouse areas clean and neat, including sweeping, shoveling snow, picking up debris, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Maintain the service parts area and log incoming and outgoing parts.
• Maintain inventory-level records and report specific usage.
• Recommend changes or improvements to work processes and procedures in writing.
• Understand and meet safety requirements for equipment and tools.
• Help lift large units in the warehouse or at installation job sites as requested.
• Deliver materials to job sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the leader.
