Member Advisor II - Livonia
About The Position
TRUE Community Credit Union is seeking a full-time Member Advisor II to join its Livonia Branch. The role helps members navigate financial decisions, celebrate milestones, and build financial confidence through trusted relationships and positive service experiences. The Member Advisor assists with everyday banking needs, provides knowledgeable guidance, and accurately processes account transactions. The position also involves identifying members’ financial needs and recommending suitable products, services, and solutions; opening and maintaining deposit accounts; assisting with consumer loan applications; and educating members about fraud prevention and account security. The schedule is approximately 40 hours per week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Wednesday from 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and rotating Saturdays from 8:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The listed pay range is $18.10–$19.60 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong member service, communication, consultative sales, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and software applications efficiently.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of two years of experience in a financial institution is preferred.
- Lending, account opening, and sales experience are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist members with everyday banking needs and provide knowledgeable guidance and support.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other account transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Engage members in conversations to identify financial needs and recommend appropriate products, services, and solutions.
- Open and maintain deposit accounts.
- Assist with consumer loan applications.
- Educate members on fraud prevention and account security.
- Support members in making informed financial decisions.
- Build trusted relationships, deliver personalized service, and strengthen member relationships through each interaction.
