About The Position
Caleres is hiring a Warehouse Associate for its distribution center in Chino, California. The role involves fulfilling customer orders, receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, and collaborating with warehouse colleagues and other teams to maintain an efficient workflow and meet customer needs. The position is on the first shift, Tuesday through Saturday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Starting pay is $19.50 per hour, plus a $0.50 shift differential, with potential to earn overtime. Responsibilities
- Pick items from designated storage locations according to customer order specifications.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Receive incoming shipments and inspect them for accuracy, quality, and damage.
- Verify incoming shipments against documentation such as packing slips or purchase orders.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to support workflow, resolve operational challenges, and meet customer demands.
