About The Position

Wesco is hiring a Warehouse Associate to perform warehouse and distribution tasks. The role includes receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, and general maintenance of assigned areas. The shift is Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Wesco provides training and development opportunities and describes the role as an opportunity to learn about distribution and supply chain techniques.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift experience.
• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment, including power equipment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of warehouse operations experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, picking, packing, and shipping tasks.
• Cut wire and perform light assembly.
• Maintain assigned areas.
• Complete log sheets and handle inbound shipments.
• Verify supplier returns and enter order receipts.
• Relocate and consolidate material.
• Prepare and assemble packing lists.
• Pack, label, wrap, and load outbound trucks.
