About The Position

As a Pallet Repair Technician, you assist customers by repairing damaged pallets and returning them to service-ready condition before consolidating and shipping them back to the customer. The role is important to maintaining customer relationships. You will work in the repair area, meet production quotas safely, and communicate regularly with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager. The position is located at 34800 E United Ave, Pueblo, CO 81001, and pays $18.00 per hour. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The work involves repetitive lifting of up to 85 pounds and bending, stooping, walking, turning, pivoting, and standing for entire shifts of varying lengths. Work may involve exposure to outdoor elements, heat, cold, and airborne particulates. The work environment usually requires hearing protection and always requires safety glasses; safety shoes and glasses are mandatory.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience safely operating air-driven, electric, and manual woodworking tools.
High school degree or GED.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

Complete production paperwork accurately to track progress.
Use appropriate tools and methods to repair damaged pallets and return them to service-ready condition.
Communicate regularly with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager.
Inspect repaired products to verify they meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Work safely in the repair area without constant supervision to achieve production quotas.
Hand-stack pallets to appropriate heights.
Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
Move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates to the appropriate staging area.
Check loads to ensure they are secure.
Coordinate trailer moves within the yard management system.
