About The Position

As a Pallet Repair Technician, you will repair customers’ damaged pallets and return them to service-ready condition before consolidating and shipping them back to the customer. The role supports customer relationships and requires safe, efficient work in the repair area, accurate production tracking, and quality checks. The stated pay range is $16.00–$19.00 per hour. The position is located at 4600 Magnum Dr, Fort Pierce, FL 34981, and works first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience safely operating air-driven, electric, and manual woodworking tools.
High school degree or GED.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work overtime when needed.
Ability to repetitively lift up to 85 pounds and bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand throughout shifts of varying lengths.
Ability to work in extreme conditions, including elements, heat, cold, and airborne particulate.
Safety shoes and safety glasses are mandatory; hearing protection is usually required due to workplace noise.

Responsibilities

Complete production paperwork accurately to track progress.
Use appropriate tools and methods to repair damaged pallets and return them to service-ready condition.
Communicate regularly with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager.
Examine repaired products to verify that they meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Work efficiently without constant supervision to safely achieve production quotas in the repair area.
Hand-stack pallets to appropriate heights.
Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
Move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates to the appropriate staging area.
Check loads to ensure they are secure.
Coordinate trailer moves within the yard management system.
