About The Position

State Electric Supply Co. is a leading electrical distributor with a long history of providing excellent service and expertise. They are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Warehouse Associate / Wire Cutter to join their team at the Goldsboro, NC location. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient distribution of inventory and providing excellent customer service within the branch store.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year warehouse experience or related preferred.
• Ability to satisfy training requirements in order to safely operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring, distributing, and cataloging a wide range of inventory.
• Selling product to customers.
• Assisting customers with product selection in the branch store.
• Developing customer relationships.
• Assisting shipping and receiving materials or items.
• Loading and unloading materials or items.
• Checking in merchandise.
• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Preparing parcels for mailing.
• Multi-tasking to support various other roles in the branch location.
