About The Position

State Electric Supply Co., a leader in the electrical distribution industry since 1952 with 42 locations across 7 states, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Warehouse Associate to join their team at the Goldsboro, NC location. This role is crucial for delivering excellence to customers and involves a variety of warehouse and customer-facing responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to satisfy training requirements in order to safely operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.

• 1 year warehouse experience or related preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring, distributing, and cataloging a wide range of inventory.
• Selling product to customers.
• Assisting customers with product selection in the branch store.
• Developing customer relationships.
• Assisting shipping and receiving materials or items.
• Loading and unloading materials or items.
• Checking in merchandise.
• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences (e.g., size, type, style, color, product code).
• Preparing parcels for mailing.
• Multi-tasking to support various other roles in the branch location.
