The Warehouse Associate will perform general warehouse duties as directed by the Shop Manager for the given shift. This role is responsible for the movement of equipment and materials within the facility, coordinating with various departments on the delivery of equipment from Inbound to QC departments, and storing equipment on shelves for later picking for orders and projects. Additionally, this position supports the will-call area, assisting clients with order pickups, returns, and general inquiries, ensuring a smooth and professional customer experience.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage multiple client orders simultaneously
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
  • Basic knowledge of audio-visual equipment, lighting, rigging, audio, and other entertainment technology used in live events and broadcast environments
  • Understanding of equipment handling, packing standards, and proper storage practices
  • Strong organizational skills with an understanding of spatial awareness and safe warehouse storage practices
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify order accuracy for pickups and returns
  • Ability to think analytically and problem-solve, especially when resolving order discrepancies or client concerns
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Ability to remain calm and adaptable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and execute job functions with a high level of accuracy
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a high school diploma
  • Work experience as general laborer, preferably in warehouse
  • Experience with inventory software
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a warehouse setting with Forklift experience
  • Certification to operate Forklift and other warehouse material handling equipment
  • Fluency in English

Responsibilities

  • Assist in loading and unloading of equipment in conjunction with the Outbound and Inbound coordinator
  • Serve as a client-facing representative, supporting customers with will-call pickups, returns, and order-related questions throughout the day
  • Manage and maintain the will-call area, ensuring orders are organized, accurate, and ready for client pickup
  • Coordinate the flow of equipment from Inbound to appropriate departments for QC
  • Reorganize equipment in various warehouse areas to support special projects or equipment preps in designated prep spaces
