About The Position

The Will Call Teammate is a safety and service-oriented individual responsible for providing an excellent customer experience and ensuring the accurate fulfillment of customer orders within the Warehouse team. Key duties include counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material, as well as stocking and maintaining the warehouse. The role involves picking, documenting, and packing customer orders according to company policy and procedure, with a high attention to detail to achieve customer satisfaction. The teammate will handle shipping discrepancies, identify and store nonstock, special-order, and damaged material, and complete necessary documentation for third-party carrier shipments. They are also responsible for safely operating warehouse forklifts and other material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and informing supervisors of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged merchandise. Maintaining warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety, assisting co-workers, and performing all job functions in accordance with company safety standards and compliance training are also crucial aspects of the role.

Requirements

1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience

Responsibilities

Be responsible for counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.
Stock and maintain the warehouse; and pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
Act with a high attention to detail to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Handle all shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward appropriate paperwork to designated employee to handle.
Identify nonstock, special-order material, and damaged material and store in proper warehouse locations.
Complete necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carrier.
Load and unload trucks, operate warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
Inform immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/nonsaleable merchandise that could impact customer service levels.
Ensure security and controls are in place and upheld to protect Profit Center assets.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety.
Remove empty cartons, metal bands, pallets, and other debris.
Inform immediate supervisor of safety issues.
Assist co-workers in servicing customers.
Perform all job functions in accordance with the company’s Safety Standards.
Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
