About The Position

Responsible for receiving, stocking, preparing, and shipping merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas. The job is performed in a warehouse/operations environment and involves frequent exposure to fast-moving material-handling or other mechanical equipment. The position is full-time, pays $24.46 per hour, and is scheduled Sunday through Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Work hours or schedules may vary based on customer orders, departmental needs, or business requirements. The position does not require travel.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must pass a functional capacity test.
Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and cherry picker.
Ability to lift 40–60 pounds repeatedly during each shift.
Ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand, and twist for extended periods.
Ability to successfully complete forklift training and certification requirements.
Ability to operate Radio Frequency (RF) or Voice Pick devices.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Previous knowledge of SAP.
One year of warehouse experience.
Previous forklift certification.
Six months of previous warehouse experience and/or training.
Material-handling equipment experience.
Reach truck experience.

Responsibilities

Accurately select merchandise from assigned slots and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure.
Load merchandise into the appropriate truck.
Move merchandise from reserve slots to pick slots.
Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
Repack loose merchandise for shipping or delivery.
Verify product quality and packaging and ensure adherence to vendor compliance policy.
Follow the Warehouse Labor Standard and “Preferred Method Standard.”
Identify and report slot and put-away problems.
Shrink-wrap merchandise or pallets after picking as needed.
Perform housekeeping duties as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.
