About The Position

Parts Authority is hiring a Warehouse Associate - Stock to stock items on shelves and maintain a neat, orderly warehouse. The role involves receiving merchandise from vendors and other stores, placing it in the correct locations, checking received merchandise, correcting inventory count sheet errors, assisting with parts pulling during busy periods, cleaning the warehouse inside and outside, and working with the stock manager to address order and stocking problems. The position may also involve miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned. Parts Authority is a national distributor of automotive replacement parts, tools and equipment, and transmissions. The stated schedule is first shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; candidates must also have open availability and be able to work various shifts and overtime.

Meet the role's physical requirements, including frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching, and occasional sitting, climbing ladders and/or stairs, or balancing.
Meet the stated vision requirements, including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
Be able to work in environmental conditions where protected from weather but not necessarily from temperature changes, and in narrow aisles or passageways.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of warehouse experience is preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse safety measures.

Responsibilities

Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and place it in the proper location on shelves.
Check off merchandise as received.
Correct mistakes found on inventory count sheets.
Assist with pulling parts during busy times.
Clean up inside and outside the warehouse.
Work with the stock manager to address problems with orders.
Resolve problems with how the warehouse is stocked.
Complete miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
