About The Position

Parts Authority is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate - Stock in Pompano Beach, Florida. The role stocks merchandise on warehouse shelves and helps maintain a neat, orderly warehouse. The associate receives merchandise from vendors and other stores, verifies received items, corrects inventory-count errors, assists with pulling parts during busy periods, and works with the stock manager to address order or stocking problems. The position may also involve cleaning the warehouse and completing miscellaneous projects or other related duties. The posted minimum hourly rate is $16.50.

Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach; occasionally sit, climb ladders and/or stairs, or balance.
Meet the position's vision requirements, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Be able to work in environmental conditions with protection from weather but not necessarily from temperature changes, and potentially in narrow aisles or passageways.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of warehouse experience.
Familiarity with warehouse safety measures.

Responsibilities

Stock merchandise on shelves and maintain a neat, orderly warehouse.
Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and place it in the proper shelf location.
Check off merchandise as received.
Correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet.
Assist with pulling parts during busy periods.
Clean up inside and outside the warehouse.
Work with the stock manager to address problems with orders.
Resolve problems with how the warehouse is stocked.
Complete miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
