About The Position

Parts Authority is hiring a part-time Warehouse Associate - Stock in Pompano Beach, Florida, at an hourly rate of $16.50. The role stocks merchandise on warehouse shelves and helps maintain a neat, orderly warehouse. Associates receive merchandise from vendors and other stores, verify received items, correct inventory count-sheet errors, help pull parts during busy periods, and work with the stock manager to address order and stocking problems. The role also includes cleaning the inside and outside of the warehouse and completing other assigned projects and related duties. Parts Authority describes itself as a national distributor of automotive replacement parts, tools and equipment, and transmissions, with more than 300 locations.

Meet the specified vision requirements, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of warehouse experience preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse safety measures.

Responsibilities

Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and put it in the proper location on the shelves.
Check off merchandise as received.
Correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet.
Assist in pulling parts during busy times.
Clean up inside and outside the warehouse.
Work with the stock manager to address problems with orders.
Resolve problems with how the warehouse is stocked.
Complete miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
