About The Position

Parts Authority is hiring a Warehouse Associate - Stock for its rapidly expanding division. The role is responsible for stocking items on shelves and maintaining an orderly warehouse. The position is described as a first-shift opportunity, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with an hourly rate of $15.00. Meet the stated physical and vision requirements, including frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching; occasional sitting, climbing ladders or stairs, or balancing; and close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision with the ability to adjust focus.
Work in conditions protected from weather but not necessarily from temperature changes, and in narrow aisles or passageways when required.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of warehouse experience is preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse safety measures.

Responsibilities

Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and place it in the proper shelf locations.
Check off merchandise as received.
Correct mistakes found on inventory count sheets.
Assist with pulling parts during busy periods.
Clean up inside and outside the warehouse.
Work with the stock manager to address problems with orders.
Resolve problems with warehouse stocking.
Complete miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
