This position pays $18.65 per hour (including shift premium) with increases at 90 and 360 days if meeting expectations. The role involves pulling totes and/or packages from conveyor or pallet, verifying part number and quantity to be shipped, and confirming value-added services. It includes profiling and preparing unit loads according to material handling requirements for transport, preparing and completing packing slips, shipment bills of lading/manifests, labeling, and specialized documentation. The associate will select appropriate shipping containers and packing materials, print required documents or labels, package orders to prevent damage, move completed orders to conveyor or sort material to pallets, and complete shipment confirmation in the computer system. Occasional operation of shrink wrap machines, I-Pak machines, pallet jacks, or forklifts may be required with in-house certification. The position ensures TTI meets or exceeds customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery, meeting established quality goals and productivity goals. The associate must maintain acceptable time and attendance, be available for overtime, and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude. Collaboration and cooperation with others are essential for completing work assignments effectively and efficiently. The role involves contributing to the operations team by accepting other duties as required, working independently with minimal supervision, maintaining a sense of urgency, and focusing on desired results. Safety is paramount, requiring adherence to established safe operating policies and reporting any observed hazards. The associate will support daily warehouse department metrics and perform FOD (foreign object detection) and location maintenance to ensure 5S standards. Cross-training in other areas is also required.
