About The Position

This position pays $16.65 per hour (including shift premium) with increases at 90 and 360 days if meeting expectations. The role involves pulling totes, packaging or ordering from conveyor or pallet, scanning, sorting, and delivering orders to a holding area or next destination until all line items have been accounted for and consolidated. The associate will confirm order completion and transport orders to the appropriate location. Responsibilities include ensuring TTI meets or exceeds internal and external customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery, meeting established quality goals for errors (PPM) and productivity goals, and actively participating in job qualification audits while strictly adhering to all established standard operating procedures. The role requires maintaining acceptable time and attendance, being available for overtime as needed, and demonstrating a positive, team-oriented attitude. The associate will contribute to the operations team by accepting other duties as required, working independently with minimal supervision, working with a sense of urgency, and maintaining a positive attitude focused on results. A key aspect is ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to safe operating policies and notifying management of safety hazards. The position supports daily warehouse department metrics on safety, quality, delivery, and cost, performs FOD and location maintenance to ensure 5S standards, and actively cross-trains in other areas. This position requires use of information or access to hardware subject to ITAR, meaning the individual must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and move objects up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis using proper lifting techniques.
  • Ability to twist, stoop, squat, bend, and reach on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
  • May require an in-house material handling equipment license according to the type of equipment being operated and follow defined safety guidelines.
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack, stock chaser, flatbed cart, or rider pallet jack with required in-house certification.

Responsibilities

  • Meets established quality goals in relation to errors measured as “parts per million” (PPM) produced and productivity goals as defined by Management.
  • Actively participates in job qualification audits and strictly adheres to all established standard operating procedures.
  • Maintains acceptable time and attendance based on TTI policies defined by Human Resources and Operations; available to work overtime as required due to business demands.
  • Demonstrates a positive “team” oriented attitude and approach toward work assignments in full collaboration and cooperation with others to complete all work assignments according to expectations and in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
  • Contributes to the ongoing success of the entire operations team by willingly accepting and embracing “other duties as required”, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, works with a sense of urgency, and maintains an overall positive attitude focused on delivery of desired results for TTI.
  • Ensures a safe working environment for self and others by adhering to established safe operating policies and expectations; notifies management of any observed safety hazards.

  • Performs FOD (foreign object detection) and location maintenance to ensure 5S standards are maintained.
  • Actively cross trains in other areas, as required, outside of primary job function.
