About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting in the unloading of trucks, verifying counts, checking for damages, and accurately entering information into the system. The role involves sorting and delivering packages, and potentially operating material handling equipment. The associate will ensure TTI meets customer expectations for quality, cost, and delivery, while adhering to standard operating procedures and quality goals. Maintaining attendance, working overtime as needed, and demonstrating a positive, team-oriented attitude are crucial. The role also emphasizes safety, supporting department metrics, performing FOD and location maintenance, and cross-training in other areas.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Energetic and goal focused.
  • Effective English communication skills.
  • Basic computer navigation and typing skills.
  • Ability to count accurately and perform simple math.
  • Ability to read English and comprehend simple written work instructions.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and move objects up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis using proper lifting techniques.
  • Ability to twist, stoop, squat, bend, and reach on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
  • May require an in-house material handling equipment license.
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in unloading boxes and pallets from trucks.
  • Verify pallet count with bill of lading and check for damages.
  • Pull boxes from conveyor or push carts to pallets and stack boxes.
  • Confirm part number and quantity on packing slip and part label.
  • Check for damaged parts.
  • Enter packing list number, quantity, and purchase order number in the system.
  • Sort and deliver packages to designated staging locations.
  • Operate pallet jack, rider pallet jack, or forklift with required in-house certification.
  • Ensure TTI meets or exceeds internal and external customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
  • Meet established quality goals and productivity goals.
  • Actively participate in job qualification audits and adhere to standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain acceptable time and attendance.
  • Be available to work overtime as required.
  • Demonstrate a positive team-oriented attitude and collaborate with others.
  • Accept and embrace other duties as required.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Work with a sense of urgency and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and notify management of safety hazards.
  • Support daily warehouse department metrics on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Perform FOD (foreign object detection) and location maintenance to ensure 5S standards are maintained.
  • Actively cross train in other areas as required.
