This position pays $18.65 per hour (including shift premium) with increases at 90 and 360 days if meeting expectations. The role involves assisting in unloading boxes and pallets from trucks, verifying pallet counts with bills of lading, and checking for damages. Responsibilities include pulling boxes from conveyors or pushing carts to pallets, confirming part numbers and quantities against packing slips and labels, checking for damaged parts, and entering relevant information into the system. The associate will sort and deliver packages to designated staging locations and may operate pallet jacks or forklifts with in-house certification. The position requires meeting or exceeding internal and external customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery, achieving quality goals related to 'parts per million' errors, and meeting productivity goals. Active participation in job qualification audits and adherence to standard operating procedures are essential. Maintaining acceptable time and attendance, being available for overtime, and demonstrating a positive, team-oriented attitude are also key aspects of the role. The associate will contribute to the operations team by accepting other duties, working independently with minimal supervision, and maintaining a sense of urgency and a positive attitude focused on results. Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to policies and notifying management of hazards is crucial. The role supports daily warehouse department metrics and performs FOD and location maintenance to maintain 5S standards. Cross-training in other areas is also required.
