This position involves accurately counting and pulling parts, re-verifying part numbers and quantities, entering required information into the system, applying and scanning barcodes, finalizing orders, and placing totes on the conveyor. It may also include stocking duties such as scanning products, verifying part numbers and quantities, scanning storage locations, and rotating parts to ensure "first in first out." The role may require operating a pushcart and/or carousel. The associate is expected to meet or exceed internal and external customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery, while meeting established quality and productivity goals. Adherence to standard operating procedures and participation in job qualification audits are mandatory. Maintaining acceptable time and attendance, and availability for overtime as required by business demands, are also key aspects of this role. A positive, team-oriented attitude, willingness to accept "other duties as required," ability to work independently with minimal supervision, a sense of urgency, and a focus on desired results are essential. Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to safety policies and notifying management of hazards is crucial. The position supports daily warehouse department metrics and performs FOD and location maintenance to ensure 5S standards are maintained. Active cross-training in other areas is also required.
