About The Position

Veho’s Ground Operations Associate II performs warehouse tasks that support exceptional customer service and on-time delivery. Daily work includes scanning and sorting packages onto pallets or into routes, meeting delivery driver partners for the morning launch, and preparing carts accurately for delivery. The role supports the success of warehouse operations and Veho’s delivery experience.

The position requires working in a fast-paced environment and following direction from supervisors and the Ground Operations Lead, particularly for sort and accountability processes. Depending on operational needs and individual responsibilities, the associate may operate a forklift or box truck, train and coach teammates, help solve complex problems and balance competing priorities, and serve as a culture ambassador by modeling a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment.

Requirements

• Own a modern smartphone and be able to navigate smartphone apps daily.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, as operational needs require.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move boxes, bend, and frequently lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring quick thinking and physical agility.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a warehouse or related field is preferred.
• Forklift certification and/or experience operating box trucks is preferred.
• Ability to provide training and coaching to team members, solve problems independently, and manage competing priorities may be needed for assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Scan and sort packages onto pallets or into delivery routes.
• Meet delivery driver partners for the morning launch.
• Accurately prepare carts to support successful, on-time delivery.
• Follow direction from supervisors and the Ground Operations Lead, especially regarding sort and accountability processes.
• Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with colleagues, crowd-sourced drivers, and customers.
• Complete one or more additional duties as assigned, which may include operating a forklift or box truck, training and coaching team members, solving problems and managing competing priorities, or serving as a culture ambassador.
• Lead by example to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment.
