Warehouse Associate II, Ground Operations
About The Position
As a Ground Operations Associate II at Veho, you will perform warehouse tasks that support exceptional customer service and on-time delivery. Daily work includes scanning and sorting packages onto pallets or into routes, preparing carts accurately, and meeting delivery driver partners for the morning launch. This role is critical to Veho’s operations and delivery experience. Depending on operational needs and the associate’s responsibilities, the role may also involve operating a forklift or box truck, training and coaching teammates, solving complex problems independently, and helping create a positive and inclusive team environment.
Requirements
- Own a modern smartphone and be able to navigate smartphone apps daily.
- Be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, as operational needs require.
- Be able to stand for extended periods, move boxes up and down, bend, and frequently lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment requiring quick thinking and physical agility.
- Take direction from Supervisors and the Ground Operations Lead.
- Maintain a professional demeanor in interactions with colleagues, drivers, and customers.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a warehouse or related field.
- Forklift certification and/or experience operating box trucks.
Responsibilities

- Follow direction from Supervisors and the Ground Operations Lead, particularly regarding sort and accountability processes.
- Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with colleagues, crowd-sourced drivers, and customers.
- Perform one or more additional duties as assigned, which may include operating a forklift and potentially a box truck, training and coaching team members, independently solving problems and managing competing priorities, or serving as a culture ambassador who leads by example.
