About The Position

Supports warehouse operations by loading, unloading, picking, shipping, and handling materials. Ensures products are accurately prepared for pickup or delivery, secured for transport, and handled safely and efficiently. Works under close supervision, following established processes and seeking supervisor guidance on non-routine issues. Work output is typically reviewed by a senior coworker or supervisor.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for periods of up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements, including bending or squatting.
• Work safely around temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and material-handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, sort, pick, stock, stage, and transport materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
• Prepare items for shipment or customer pickup by packaging them with shrink wrap, strapping, or other protective methods.
• Verify product accuracy and condition before staging or shipping.
• Install bracing, padding, or other protective devices to prevent damage during transport.
• Operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Assist customers, installers, or subcontractors by fulfilling orders or locating materials.
• Drive company vehicles to pick up or deliver materials as needed.
