Warehouse Associate I - Tampa, FL
About The Position
This is a 1st shift Warehouse Associate I position in Tampa, FL, paying $17.50 per hour plus a sign-on bonus. The work hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role requires regular and reliable attendance due to its in-person nature and necessitates access to reliable transportation. The associate will be responsible for operating cutting equipment, using technology like RF scanners and iPads for order processing, assisting customers with will-call orders, building and preparing orders for shipping, and handling truck deliveries. The position involves working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment with potential for high temperatures and noise levels. Safety is a priority, with proper PPE provided and monthly safety meetings.
Requirements
- Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
- Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must provide proof that you are legally authorized to work in the US.

- Previous Wire & Cable experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Operating cutting equipment to process wire and cable orders for shipping
- Using technology such as RF scanners, iPads, and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders for shipping
- Assisting customers with local will-call orders
- Building, wrapping, sorting and transporting reels, pallets, and packages
- Shipping and receiving truck deliveries
- Work at a fast pace and be flexible to work overtime as needed
