About The Position
Openwork is hiring a Warehouse Associate / General Laborer for a two-week warehouse transformation project at a manufacturing facility in Stafford, Texas. The role focuses on organizing and optimizing the warehouse, cleaning equipment and parts, and resetting the floor layout. Candidates who demonstrate strong work ethic, efficiency, and attention to detail may transition into a permanent Assembly Team role. The position offers a pathway to learn precision manufacturing and pursue internal advancement.
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse work, general labor, or equipment cleaning.
- Ability to work independently and identify and prioritize tasks without extensive direction.
- Ability to assess cluttered spaces, develop an efficient sorting system, and carry it out independently.
- High stamina, attention to detail, reliability, and drive.
- Ambition to learn new skills and pursue a permanent assembly role.
Responsibilities
- Sort supplies, remove outdated materials, and improve inventory storage.
- Clean warehouse equipment and parts, including pressure washing.
- Reconfigure warehouse layouts and stage cleaned equipment to support operational flow.
