About The Position

The Warehouse Associate/Backroom Processor works on the Retail Team at The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center’s Anaheim (Katella) Store, which supports the Adult Rehabilitation Program. The role contributes to a positive shopping and donor experience and supports the program through receiving, processing, labeling, and storing stock; maintaining inventory records; and inspecting stock for damage. Schedules are determined by management, and employees must remain flexible to ensure adequate coverage. Full-time employees may be scheduled for any full-time shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must pass a background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry checks.
• Ability to read and write and to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors.
• Must be flexible with scheduling to help ensure adequate coverage.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, label, and store incoming stock.
• Maintain clear records of inventory and stock.
• Inspect stock for damage and keep records of damages.
