Make a difference as a Warehouse Assistant At The Food Bank As a Warehouse Assistant at The Resource Connection of Amador & Calaveras Counties, Inc., you will work under the supervision of the Food Bank Director. Your primary responsibilities will include stocking food shelves and assembling food orders that are essential for community support. In addition, you will assist the Food Bank Warehouse Supervisor in various warehouse functions, ensuring smooth operations and efficient service. This role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to excellence and safety while helping to alleviate food insecurity in our community. Requirements

  • Maintain Client Confidentiality
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, squat and reach for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must have a valid California driver's license
  • Must show proof of current automotive insurance

Nice To Haves

  • Previous forklift certification/experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Stocking food shelves
  • Assembling food orders
  • Assist the Food Bank Warehouse Supervisor in various warehouse functions
  • Loading, unloading, and stocking incoming and outgoing supplies
  • Accurately completing daily vehicle, inventory, and warehouse maintenance logs
  • Properly recording weights and disposing of expired foods
  • Adherence to safety practices and procedures at all times
