Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in food distribution, warehouse operations, outreach, or volunteer coordination preferred.
  • Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively with staff, management, and volunteers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Current valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record of 2+ years and ability to qualify for PRM's company insurance policy.
  • A solid and credible Christian witness and lifestyle that exemplifies Christ in character and actions.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college or ministry training preferred.
  • Experience in church or nonprofit settings highly desirable.
  • Experience with program databases preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for food distribution activities and oversee client intake operations.
  • Oversee the unloading, storage, and tracking of food and Gift-in-Kind (GIK) items.
  • Manage daily food packing and distribution for both onsite and mobile pantry services.
  • Partner with churches and community organizations to coordinate and lead mobile pantry distributions, including site scheduling, food preparation and transport, volunteer coordination, and distribution reporting.
  • Train and supervise volunteers and work therapy clients.
  • Complete administrative tasks including email correspondence, scheduling, data entry, and reporting.
  • Operate warehouse trucks and forklifts as needed to support food distribution programs, including product pick-ups, deliveries, and mobile pantry logistics.
  • Lead or participate in devotions, prayers, or other organization activities that promote a credible Christian witness and lifestyle.
