Make a difference as a Warehouse Assistant At The Food Bank As a Warehouse Assistant at The Resource Connection of Amador & Calaveras Counties, Inc., you will work under the supervision of the Food Bank Director. Your primary responsibilities will include stocking food shelves and assembling food orders that are essential for community support. In addition, you will assist the Food Bank Warehouse Supervisor in various warehouse functions, ensuring smooth operations and efficient service. Requirements

  • Strong commitment to maintaining client confidentiality
  • Efficiently managing inventory
  • Proficiency in loading, unloading, and stocking incoming and outgoing supplies
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching for extended periods
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged durations
  • Valid California driver's license
  • Proof of current automotive insurance

Nice To Haves

  • Previous forklift certification/experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Stocking food shelves
  • Assembling food orders

  • Completing daily vehicle, inventory, and warehouse maintenance logs
