About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Assistant Supervisor with 3–5 years of warehouse management experience to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of warehouse operations, including WMS systems, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and bending.
Requirements
- Current Forklift Certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and a background check.
- Effective communication skills and ability to maintain professionalism at all times.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist others.
Nice To Haves
- 3–5 years of warehouse management experience.
- 3–5 years of WMS (Warehouse Management System) experience.
- Recent forklift operation experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift safely and responsibly, ensuring equipment and employee safety at all times.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers using proper documentation.
- Handle flooring products for delivery, including picking and pulling to match orders.
- Coordinate and communicate daily with warehouse employees.
- Maintain a neat, organized warehouse in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
- Spot check inventory to ensure accuracy and maintain correct counts.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting items over 50 lbs. as required.
