About The Position

A Warehouse Asset Technician plays a critical role in bridging warehouse operations with hands-on technical support. This position combines logistics expertise with IT hardware diagnostics, repair coordination, and team leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. The role involves leading standard creation and ensuring adherence across global asset technician teams, acting as an escalation point for process, technical, and operational queries, and providing hardware and software support for a wide range of devices and operating systems. The technician will triage assets, diagnose issues, manage repair timelines, compile repair data, maintain asset tracking, prepare assets for shipment, receive and process inbound shipments, assist with material handling, conduct cycle counts, and partner with inventory teams. Additionally, the role supports new hire equipment deployment, oversees e-waste processing, and may involve travel to customer sites for urgent requests. The ideal candidate will work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-driven environment while maintaining high data integrity standards and taking on additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous experience leading or mentoring a team in a fast-paced or high-demand environment
  • Strong technical aptitude with a willingness to learn device repair and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Apple and Windows operating systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (especially Excel/Sheets)
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and make quick decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • A proactive, customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and customer needs

Responsibilities

  • Lead standard creation and ensure adherence across global asset technician teams
  • Act as a point of escalation for process, technical, and operational queries
  • Provide hardware support for a wide range of devices, including Apple and Windows products
  • Deliver software support across macOS and Windows environments (including Boot Camp and Parallels)
  • Triage assets and diagnose hardware or cosmetic issues, recommending appropriate repairs
  • Troubleshoot internal systems and resolve day-to-day operational challenges
  • Manage repair timelines, partner deadlines, and ensure high-quality completion standards
  • Compile repair data and provide performance reporting to management
  • Maintain accurate asset tracking and update customer portals with real-time status
  • Prepare assets for shipment, including picking, packing, labeling, and coordinating with couriers
  • Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments; stock inventory appropriately
  • Assist with loading and unloading shipments and warehouse material handling
  • Conduct cycle counts and support ongoing inventory audits
  • Partner with regional and global inventory teams for alignment and process consistency
  • Support new hire equipment deployment and regional logistics coordination
  • Oversee e-waste processing, donation logistics, and proper disposal practices
  • Travel to customer sites within the region for urgent technical or logistical requests
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-driven environment while maintaining high data integrity standards
  • Take on additional tasks or special projects as assigned by site leadership
