About The Position
The Warehouse & Shipping Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse, inventory, and outbound logistics operations across multiple manufacturing sites. This role ensures efficient material flow, accurate inventory control, cost-effective transportation, and on-time delivery to customers. The position serves as a key operational leader, aligning production, warehousing, and transportation strategies with company goals. This role bridges production and delivery, controls logistics costs, and enables scalable operational growth while improving customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–10+ years in warehouse/shipping operations.
- 3–5+ years in leadership roles.
- Experience managing multi-site operations.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in manufacturing environments.
- ERP/WMS systems experience.
- Lean or Six Sigma certification.
- Transportation or fleet management experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee multi-site warehouse operations and standardized processes.
- Manage shipping and outbound logistics (LTL, FTL, parcel).
- Maintain accurate inventory and material control.
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with production and sales.
- Lead and develop warehouse and shipping teams.
- Enforce safety and compliance standards.
- Manage warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Track KPIs and manage budgets.
- Drive system improvements and data integrity.
