About The Position

This position is located at Grill '77 on Fort Huachuca, AZ. Incentives will not be paid. The role involves taking orders for food and beverages, delivering them to guests, maintaining sales records, collecting payments, and ensuring tables are clean and reset. The position requires familiarity with all food and beverage items and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a health assessment.
  • Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
  • Appointment subject to favorable suitability adjudication.
  • Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours annual refresher training.
  • Must meet state/local age (18) requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Stands and walks for long periods.
  • Lifts and carries items weighing less than 10 pounds, and occasionally up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be willing to accept a flexible appointment.
  • Resumes must be two pages (or less).
  • Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
  • Applicant must meet state/local age requirements (18) for the service for alcoholic beverages at the time of appointment.
  • Applicant must possess basic math skills necessary to compute patron bills and make change.
  • Applicant must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

  • Takes orders placed by guests for alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages and food items from menus.
  • Orders drinks from bartender and delivers to guests.
  • Required to be fully familiar with all food and beverage items available for guest consumption.
  • Maintains sales records, collects cash or payment by card from guests.
  • Clean, reset and arrange tables as required.
  • Remove used glassware, china, and silverware to steward for cleaning.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
