About The Position

This is a comprehensive internship program designed to provide extensive training and experience in the Food & Beverage department of Meadowood Napa Valley. The program is divided into several phases, starting with company and community orientation, followed by an introduction to Food & Beverage operations, hands-on participation in daily operations across multiple outlets, and culminating in independent support of daily operations with increased responsibility. The goal is to develop skills, ensure service execution, and maintain operational consistency and guest satisfaction according to Meadowood Napa Valley's high standards.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a post-secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry.
• Possess a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA).
• Have 5 years of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA).
• Demonstrated consistent career growth over recent years.
• Shown serious commitment to most recent employers.

Responsibilities

• Receive orientation to the company and local community, including learning about customers, culture, business strategies, payroll, and local resources.
• Receive computer training on company systems.
• Learn and apply Meadowood Napa Valley's service standards.
• Gain foundational exposure to Food & Beverage operations.
• Actively participate in daily operations across multiple Food & Beverage outlets (Forum, Terrace Café, In-Room Dining, Banquet operations).
• Support teams in entry-level roles such as Host/Hostess, Restaurant Server, Luxury Beverage, and Private Dining operations.
• Apply previously acquired skills by independently supporting daily operations within a designated Food & Beverage outlet.
• Operate with increased responsibility and perform assigned duties with minimal supervision.
• Maintain Meadowood Napa Valley's service standards, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
