About The Position

This is an internship opportunity within the Food and Beverage department at Meadowood Napa Valley. The program is structured in phases, starting with orientation to the company and local community, followed by an introduction to Food & Beverage operations. The intern will then actively participate in daily operations across multiple outlets, applying learned service fundamentals in a guest-facing environment. The final phase involves independent support of daily operations with increased responsibility and minimal supervision, all while upholding Meadowood Napa Valley's service standards.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a post-secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry.
• Possess a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA).
• Have 5 years of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA).
• Demonstrated consistent career growth over the last years.
• Demonstrated serious commitment to most recent employers.

Responsibilities

• Receive orientation to the company and local community, including learning about customers, culture, business strategies, payroll, local training areas, housing, transportation, and computer systems.
• Learn and apply Meadowood Napa Valley's service standards within Food & Beverage operations.
• Gain foundational exposure to Food & Beverage operations in the Napa Valley wine country market.
• Actively participate in daily operations across multiple Food & Beverage outlets (Forum, Terrace Café, In-Room Dining, Banquet operations).
• Support teams in entry-level roles such as Host/Hostess, Restaurant Server, Luxury Beverage, and Private Dining operations.
• Apply previously acquired skills by independently supporting daily operations within a designated Food & Beverage outlet.
• Perform assigned duties with minimal supervision.
• Maintain Meadowood Napa Valley's service standards, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
