About The Position

A Production Worker S3 (Production Associate Senior) in the Wafer area, operates equipment and performs processes to build hardware. They perform tasks to ensure that equipment and processes being used are in control. They focus on accurately performing single process steps on production hardware. They observe and utilize leads and senior operators to troubleshoot and resolve issues with production support teams. They take direction from area leads and supervision to optimize efficiency. They are required to rigorously documents processes performed in electronic tracking systems. Routine work is performed with minimal supervision. This is a 100% onsite position.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • US Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under program/contract
  • Minimum 2 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Has experience in MS Office (Excel)

Nice To Haves

  • More than 2 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Experience in Photolithography, Wet Etch, Hybridization, Thin Film Deposition or other cleanroom Focal Plane Array, fabrication work cells.
  • Ability to work safely with chemicals and raw production materials.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • The flexibility to work occasional, voluntary overtime on weekends to meet the factory’s needs is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Active participation in a Safety-First work environment.
  • The ability to work in a class 100 cleanroom, in a full bunny suit, under yellow lights is required.
  • Accurately perform individual process steps for wafer (mount, demount, coat, expose, develop, wet etch, hotplate, surface treatment, inspection); for deposition (Evaporation, Sputter, Liftoff Processes) and metrology to build hardware.
  • Work with supervision, leads and senior operators to meet area goals.
  • Handle fragile hardware and manipulate small parts during processing.
  • Rigorously follow written procedures and work instructions
  • Document data on travelers and in the electronic database
  • Execute specialized communications (pass downs)
