About The Position

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Production Worker - 2nd Shift at our Troy, IL location! The core hours are Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate is $20.45, plus an additional $0.50 cent per hour shift differential. The Production Worker is expected to work in all departments of the manufacturing plant – Weld, Paint, Press, Packing, Shipping, Mill, Layout – doing various manual labor jobs. Some departments are more physically demanding, however, the general laborer should be capable of handling the work in all departments on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Must be able to frequently carry 10-34 pounds and occasionally carry 35-100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to carry a 100-pound ladder occasionally with assistance.
• Must be able to occasionally bend, stoop, squat, and climb heights with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to frequently crouch, kneel, balance, reach above shoulder level, push, and pull with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Perform packaging and assembly tasks according to production standards.
• Set up materials and components in alignment with shop order specifications.
• Stack, band, and secure parts for safe handling and transport.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with workstation setup.
• Create barcodes and accurately label finished products.
• Cutting materials using a band saw while following all safety procedures.
• Handle materials efficiently to support smooth workflow and production needs.
