About The Position

We are seeking experienced and passionate vulnerability researchers to join our Vulnerability Research and Exploit Development (VRED) team. This role involves collaborating on high-impact challenges within established platform teams (Android, iOS, Browsers, Hypervisors, and Embedded Systems). You will conduct vulnerability research, develop proof-of-concept exploits, and bypass modern exploit mitigations. The role emphasizes continuous learning, access to necessary tools and infrastructure, and contributing to a collaborative culture through knowledge sharing and participation in workshops. Opportunities for training and conferences are provided to enhance skillsets.

Requirements

• Experience in one or more of vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and exploit development.
• Ability to reason through complex topics to decide on approach, find impactful vulnerabilities, analyze their root causes, and develop proof-of-concepts.
• Interest in and passion for learning new things, taking things apart, and tackling new problems and challenges.
• Ability to work both independently and highly collaboratively.
• Permanent resident and currently based in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability research using a range of approaches and techniques.
• Develop proof-of-concept exploits for vulnerabilities found.
• Bypass modern exploit mitigations.
• Contribute to a collaborative and supportive culture by sharing knowledge and findings.
• Participate in and run workshops and other team activities.
• Engage in continuous learning to acquire necessary skills for the work.
