Experienced Vulnerability Researcher
About The Position
We are seeking experienced and passionate vulnerability researchers to join our Vulnerability Research and Exploit Development (VRED) team. This role involves collaborating on high-impact challenges within established platform teams (Android, iOS, Browsers, Hypervisors, and Embedded Systems). You will conduct vulnerability research, develop proof-of-concept exploits, and bypass modern exploit mitigations. The role emphasizes continuous learning, access to necessary tools and infrastructure, and contributing to a collaborative culture through knowledge sharing and participation in workshops. Training and conference attendance are provided to enhance skillsets.
Requirements
- Experience in one or more of vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and exploit development.
- Ability to reason through complex topics to decide on approach, find impactful vulnerabilities, analyze their root causes, and develop proof-of-concepts.
- Interest in and passion for learning new things, taking things apart, and tackling new problems and challenges.
- Ability to work both independently and highly collaboratively.
- Permanent resident and currently based in the USA.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability research using a range of approaches and techniques.
- Develop proof-of-concept exploits for vulnerabilities found.
- Bypass modern exploit mitigations.
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive culture by sharing knowledge and findings.
- Participate in and run workshops and other team activities.
