About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Graduate Research Assistant is to work directly with Dr. Jinhee Yoo (Principal Investigator, PI) regarding her research projects on virtual reality (VR) gaming, sport consumer behavior, online consumer behavior, etc. The Research Assistant will be responsible for assisting the PI in a variety of non-administrative tasks in support of the research activities which may include but not be limited to preparing resources, equipment, and materials for the research, recruiting research participants, executing research experiments and data collection, and documenting results.

Requirements

  • Must be a Gannon University graduate student enrolled for both the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters, and available to work throughout the entire 2026/2027 academic year.
  • Graduate students in Business, Psychology, Communications, Engineering, or related field only.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Proficient in using Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong sales experience or demonstrated outreach and engagement skills.

Responsibilities

  • Clearly and effectively communicate with Dr. Jinhee Yoo (Principal Investigator, PI) and participants for recruiting, coordinating the experiment sessions, and executing research experiments.
  • Understand and respect the confidentiality of the research participants as they will have access to the participants’ personal information.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and respect for both PI and participants.
  • Prepare resources, equipment, and materials for the research.
  • Recruit research participants.
  • Execute research experiments and data collection.
  • Document results.
