About The Position

This position is designed to support a scholarship of teaching and learning project. This project examines the implementation of a structured faculty development initiative within the DPT program, referred to as the Education Symposium, designed to strengthen pedagogical knowledge among faculty with varying levels of teaching experience while supporting systematic curriculum review in preparation for CAPTE accreditation. As part of this process, faculty members participate in educational programming around foundational aspects of teaching and learning and complete a structured course analysis that maps course learning objectives. NACE competencies addressed through this position include Critical Thinking, Communication, Teamwork, Technology, Professionalism, and Career & Self-Development.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to conduct literature searches and summarize scholarly sources.
  • Proficiency with (or willingness to learn) spreadsheet or database tools.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proactive and self-directed, but comfortable asking for clarification when needed.
