About The Position

SET’s Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) is seeking an Operations Coordinator to thrive in a fast-paced environment where new Toyota and Lexus vehicles are prepared for delivery to dealerships in the Southeast. The VPC team operates under Toyota quality standards, focusing on accessory installation and support. This role will effectively support assigned departments’ day-to-day business operations by overseeing daily production planning and labor requirements. The coordinator will manage disruptions, maximize efficiency, ensure quality and safety standards, and foster an inclusive and collaborative work culture.

  • Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Supervisor to ensure assigned departments have adequate staffing, including coordination of temporary labor, to achieve daily goals, while managing call outs and other activities.
  • Maintain quality standards and investigate and assign quality inspection fails.
  • Help coordinate quality containments and improvements.
  • Partner with the Shop Support Specialist to schedule training activities to promote a more flexible workforce and certification advancement.
  • Collaborate with the Planning Department and leadership to develop production goals.
  • Conduct daily start-up meetings to convey production plans, daily/weekly operating hours, and other pertinent information
  • Work with Shop Support Specialist for maintaining shop supplies, tools, machines, and other production floor needs.
  • Partner with Supervisor to ensure compliant use of time and attendance system.
  • Assist team with time-off requests and proper scheduling to meet business needs.
  • Complete location-specific assignments as well as special projects.
