Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in factoring, ABL, or commercial finance.

  • Banking & Fintech Acumen- You are highly educated in factoring and ABL products, including underwriting and credit analysis principles. You also possess strong knowledge of unique industries and markets in conjunction with a broad knowledge of business banking products and services is required.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with prospective clients.
  • Develop and execute a strategy to meet or exceed annual new business funding targets.
  • Leverage industry networks, referral sources, and marketing strategies to generate a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand client financial requirements and present tailored financing solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, including brokers, CPAs, attorneys, and industry associations.
  • Represent the Structured Finance Division at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote services and build the division’s brand.
  • Work collaboratively with internal underwriting, operations, and credit teams to structure and close deals efficiently.
  • Ensure all deals align with the division’s credit policies and risk appetite.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing with clients while maintaining a focus on achieving profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and changes in the factoring and ABL landscape.
  • Provide feedback to leadership regarding market conditions and opportunities for product or service enhancements.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline with clearly defined stages and next steps.
  • Generate a balanced portfolio of deals across various industries and credit profiles.
  • Embody a commitment to environmental, social, economic, and racial justice.
  • Apply curiosity and interest in our core values and pursue education related to sustainability practices.
  • Be willing to pursue and demonstrate an understanding of established Bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Recognize the importance of protecting the organization and our customers.
  • Question suspicious activity and stay in close collaboration with our Compliance department to ensure proper investigation and processing of potentially fraudulent activity.
