This role is responsible for the identification, implementation, tracking, and course correction of National Service Lines (NSL)-specific Process Improvement and Quality Improvement initiatives. The position works with Quality leadership to develop system-wide strategic initiatives and objectives around quality and patient safety, ensuring their effective implementation. It also collaborates with the Division-Based Medical Group leader to align physician compensation models with organizational goals and provides input on necessary modifications. The VP is responsible for budget development, implementation, monitoring, and achievement of budget goals, managing service line resource utilization, and developing physician and APP productivity expectations. This role drives the deployment, spread, and sustainability of new delivery models, practice locations, and consolidations, and determines new market growth strategies and expansion plans. Additionally, it develops physician/APP growth plans to ensure a balance of providers supporting all missions and delivering high-quality care. The VP collaborates with key stakeholders in delivering the Advocate Health model of care, assists in new practice acquisitions and the assimilation of new groups, and is responsible for the integration, adoption, and deployment of Advocate Health REWIRE 2030 Strategies with a focus on Quality & Service and System of Systems of Care. The role supports training programs aligned to the service line, clinical research endeavors, and physician and APP satisfaction and morale. It focuses on developing future leaders among the medical staff, identifying physicians who excel in quality and service, overseeing division clinical care delivery leadership, and directing strategic hiring and manpower planning. The VP serves as the primary physician liaison for recruiting, onboarding, and credentialing, and represents Advocate Health to the community.
