This is a high-growth company with $20MM-$30MM in revenue seeking a Marketing Director to lead customer acquisition and retention. The role is based within 30-60 minutes of Downtown/South Austin, Texas. We welcome applications from VP Marketing, Head of Marketing, or Senior Directors. The company operates in the live events, online training courses, eLearning, SaaS, and coaching services sectors, with expertise in teaching individual entrepreneurs, small business owners, and investors. Candidates should have a proven track record of D2C growth in similar companies, ideally within the $30MM-$80MM+ revenue range, having achieved this growth at least once, if not multiple times. The successful candidate will possess expertise in the D2C online sales funnel, customer acquisition strategies and tactics that have driven exponential growth through performance media, paid search, direct response advertising and marketing. They will also be skilled in retention, lifecycle marketing, email, SMS, and telemarketing, utilizing video, short and long-form sales copy, storytelling, and benefit selling with strong testimonials to achieve excellent ROI and ROAS, with the support of SDRs and BDRs. While affiliates, partnerships, and word-of-mouth referrals are valued, the focus will be on direct-to-customer tactics. Through hands-on leadership of a small, brilliant internal marketing and sales team, the role will sustainably develop brand awareness in a compliant manner and generate directly sourced leads who become satisfied clients. The position also requires an understanding of all customer journey touchpoints and a significant contribution to the transformation of operations, coaching and training, events, technology, data/analytics, sales, customer service support, and success.
