Ambient.ai is the category creator and leader in Agentic Physical Security, leveraging Ambient Pulsar, the first reasoning Vision-Language Model for physical security. Their platform integrates with existing security cameras and access control systems to unify monitoring, access control, threat assessment, response, and investigations, augmenting security operators with advanced capabilities. This results in 95% fewer false alarms, 20x faster investigations, and 10x faster response times. The company has shown significant momentum, doubling new ARR in FY26, processing over 200M video hours daily, and serving world-class customers like Cisco, ServiceNow, SentinelOne, TikTok, Bayer, and MoMA. The company is seeking a VP of Sales – East to lead revenue growth in the East Coast region. This role reports directly to Jeff Huisman, CRO, and involves managing a team of 4-6 Regional Sales Managers. The ideal candidate is a natural leader passionate about developing people and closing significant deals with Fortune 100 customers, an expert in scaling strategic sales processes, and inspiring teams in a high-stakes market.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge and interest in the physical security industry
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales with a focus on hunter roles and new customer acquisition & pipeline growth
  • 4+ years of experience managing enterprise sales teams; hiring and training talent at scale
  • Outstanding track record of success managing enterprise accounts and opportunities to closure, consistent over-attainment of quotas of $1M annual recurring revenue
  • Success in small/fast-growing company environments
  • Understands record keeping, sales process, and sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, etc)
  • Driven and loves to win

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving revenue growth across all revenue channels for Ambient throughout the East Coast region
  • Coach sales team on the company-adopted sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Force Management, Command of the Message) to ensure value is experienced quickly by prospects and customers
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise sales strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and objectives
  • Set clear sales targets and objectives, and continually assess and adjust the strategy as needed to meet or exceed revenue goals
  • Responsible for recruitment and hiring top enterprise sales talent
  • Delivers timely and accurate sales forecasts to the leadership team
